Exhibition: MAPA FERIA, Buenos Aires 2024
Work Description:
«Planet Aquarium – The Cube» is a multidisciplinary immersive installation that integrates real-time technologies including sensors, contemporary dance, digital art, artificial intelligence, 3D animation, and experimental sound art. This piece is presented in a hybrid format that merges interactive cinema with performance on screen, where live sensors enable dynamic interaction with the visual narrative.
Concept and Narrative:
The work explores the desire to construct an internal reality reflected in the external world, offering a contemporary metaphor on the importance of inner connection as a vital sustenance for survival. Through this narrative, the piece investigates energy as a symbiotic and self-regulating ecosystem. The story follows the birth and life of a unique being in an environment that self-regulates both its production and its ecosystemic regeneration. The central conflict, or lack thereof, revolves around the protagonist’s inability to identify with other beings, which drives them to discover how to exist in a world where their biological uniqueness sets them apart.
